About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Qualified Medication Aide to join our team at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by attending physicians
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
  • Examine and identify medications brought into the health campus by new residents
  • Contribute to a caring and compassionate environment where residents feel valued and safe
  • Follow health campus policies and procedures regarding medication disposal
Requirements
  • Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide)
  • Experience as a QMA or CMA in a long-term care or home care setting (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
