We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a LPN-ACUTE Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients with acute brain injuries, respiratory conditions, and other complex needs.

About the Unit:

The High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) is a 20-bed unit that provides specialized care to patients who require attention for acute brain injuries, respiratory assistance, or special monitoring. Our team of nurses and healthcare professionals work together to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree in nursing
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification
  • Basic computer skills and experience with IV pumps, monitoring systems, and other medical equipment
