Job Summary

The Service Operations Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports for the Service Department, ensuring seamless communication and data entry into the service business system. Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Functions
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including Service Technician timecards, safety training records, and warranty claims.
    • Generate work order logs and previews, ensuring timely completion and minimal work-in-process.
    • Enter data into the service business system, utilizing the Standard Pricing Guide (SPG) to ensure accurate pricing and billing.
    • Process part returns for warranty claims and maintain warranty logs.
  • Service Functions
    • Complete job status reports, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
    • Interview customers to obtain problem descriptions and cost estimates for repair work.
    • Prepare and file warranty claims with the Central Warranty Processor.
    • Establish and maintain service records, ensuring quality control and compliance.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Deliver parts and run errands as needed, supporting the Service Department's operations.
    • Assist with other duties assigned by corporate management, aligning with Murphy Tractor & Equipment Company's objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • At least one year of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong focus on customer service and communication.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
    • Basic knowledge of office machines, including copiers, fax machines, and printers.
    • Basic knowledge of construction equipment.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks under time constraints.
