Position Overview

This role is for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Specialist responsible for the upkeep of a 190-unit affordable housing community. Candidates should possess over a year of experience in janitorial services or grounds maintenance, ideally within a residential environment. Basic computer proficiency is essential for training purposes. Compensation ranges from $16.50 to $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
  • Manage waste disposal in shared spaces.
  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and leaf disposal.
  • Ensure all parking areas are well-kept.
  • Clean and power wash landings as required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in janitorial or grounds maintenance.
