Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Correctional Officer to fill the position of Correctional Lieutenant. This role involves performing administrative duties, supervising correctional officers, and ensuring the security and orderly operation of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise correctional officers and ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Create and maintain Post Orders for single man posts throughout the institution.
• Ensure staff performance by modeling appropriate behavior, counseling, and using progressive discipline.
• Perform administrative duties in the absence of senior officials.
• Serve as a Duty Officer on a rotating basis.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A minimum of an Associate degree in Criminal Justice or four years of uniformed security experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Basic POST Certification with Intermediate certification obtained within one year.
