As a key member of our team at SGA Talent, the Maintenance Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of our facilities. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to perform various tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our employees, clients, and visitors.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of our premises. This includes performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste materials, clean and sanitize restrooms, and replenish supplies as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials in accordance with established procedures
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, events, and company functions
  • Monitor and restock supplies in various areas, including restrooms and breakrooms
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
  • Assist in basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor repairs
  • Support facility security by ensuring all doors and windows are properly secured at the end of each workday
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
  • Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Must have weekend availability
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or related roles is preferred
  • Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Reliable and punctual
Estimated Salary Range:

$30,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
