Sierra Peaks Corporation is on the lookout for a Mechanical Assembly Specialist. The successful candidate will engage in both mechanical and electronic assembly tasks, which encompass soldering, crimping, and wiring according to detailed diagrams and schematics. A strong emphasis will be placed on Quality Control and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with the established Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute cable and mechanical assembly processes
- Assist in engineering development initiatives
- Perform product testing and prepare items for distribution
- Examine components using basic inspection tools
- Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Fulfill other assigned responsibilities as needed
- Ability to interpret and work from wiring and assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
- US citizenship is mandatory
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant assembly experience
- Proficient in soldering techniques
- Familiarity with ISO Quality systems
- Technical certifications in Electronics are advantageous
- Certifications in IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001 are preferred
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
