Position Summary:
We are looking for a talented Front-End Web Engineer to become a vital part of our development team at DentalQore. The successful candidate will possess a robust foundation in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript programming. This position focuses on tailoring and enhancing applications to align with business objectives and improve overall functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and modify web applications to fulfill the operational requirements of DentalQore.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to strategize, code, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Diagnose and refine existing PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript codebases to boost performance and dependability.
- Keep thorough documentation of code modifications, application upgrades, and development workflows.
- Engage in code assessments and aid in elevating team coding standards and methodologies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in PHP and MySQL.
- Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive web design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems, ideally Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with WHMCS customization and module development.
- Knowledge of integrating third-party APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages and technologies.
- Understanding of Linux server management and server-side technologies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in PHP/MySQL development is preferred.
