**Job Summary:**

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, making repairs as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment and facilities
* Make repairs as needed, using skills and knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipment
* Communicate effectively with staff and contractors, including reporting issues and requesting assistance
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including work orders and maintenance schedules
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Buildings and Grounds Foreman/Director of Facility Management

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Two years of building and mechanical maintenance or operations experience
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to read and follow written directions
* Ability to lift and move objects weighing at least 75 pounds
* Physical ability to perform heavy physical labor
* Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff and area contractors

**Working Conditions:**

* Work is performed in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
* May be required to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in extreme temperatures
* May be required to lift and move heavy objects, and to perform physical labor for extended periods

**Salary and Benefits:**

* Hourly rate of $

* 8 hours per day

* 40 hours per week

* 260 days per year

* 12 months per year

* Board-approved salary and benefits package
