Financial Relationship Specialist

Citizens Bank is seeking a dedicated Financial Relationship Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will play a vital role in building lasting relationships with customers and providing trusted advice.
As a Financial Relationship Specialist, you will utilize your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions. You will get to know customers' personal financial goals and recommend tailored solutions to help achieve them. This may include planning for the future, buying a home, or opening a new credit card.
You will introduce customers to digital and mobile-first ways to handle banking transactions, such as our app or ATMs. Additionally, you will collaborate with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking to help customers with more complex financial needs.
Your responsibilities will also include making outbound calls to acquire new customers and scheduling financial checkup appointments. You will understand what might be a good fit for a customer now may not be six months from now.

Requirements:
- High School degree or GED required
- 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
- Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
- Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
- Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
- Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
- Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners, and specialists through collaboration
- Self-motivated, confident, and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
- Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS
