JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of this position includes, but is not limited to, supporting elements of the Family Office related to financial management, tax administration and asset management. The position will provide diversified financial and administrative support to the Managing Trustee/Owners and will work closely with internal and external financial resources and vendors. The rolewill be an integral part of the Family Office and will serve as a nimble asset, enabling the Managing Trustee/Ownership to operate with increased effectiveness. This position requires travel to our Madison, WI corporate office two to four times a month or as needed. POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES: Manage all aspects of accounts receivables, accounts payables, general ledgers, and financial operations for multiple entities and non-profit organizations. Maintain a system of management for Family Office financial records and controls, including accounting, investment, tax, and asset management documents. Review and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Work closely with tax advisors and stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate tax processes, including year-end tax preparation, tax payments and tax notices for multiple entities, non-profits, and Trustees. Support the Owners in the administration of their traditional, angel, and early-stage investments; collaborating closely with advisors. Perform ad hoc financial analyses using financial acumen and business intel. Document and synthesize results to make recommendations for action. Act as Vendor Manager for all Family Office-related vendors and act as a conduit to Sourcing and Vendor Management. Manage operational functions related to Family Office entities holding assets, including properties, airplane, vehicles, etc. Manage or assist with Family Office projects and ensure execution of action plan. Provide administrative support, including meeting management, scheduling, material preparation, tracking action items, as well as managing communications across multiple channels Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor and/or Management. Operate within guidelines pursuant to the Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures. POSITIONAL COMPETENCIES: Conducts business internally and externally while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities. Proven ability to work independently with attention to detail. Possesses sound business acumen and knowledge of business operations and accounting principles to synthesize complex or diverse information. Must have an analytical approach to problem solution and have critical thinking skills. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain cross-functional relationships with consultants, bankers, financial advisors, tax consultants and other business contacts both internal and external.
