Job Summary
Gravitas Surgical Solutions is seeking an experienced Perfusionist to join a specialized team in the area of organ transplantation. The ideal candidate will provide all aspects of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary support for organ donors, including the operation of extracorporeal circulation equipment during surgery to support or replace a patient's own cardiopulmonary and circulatory functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during surgery to support or replace a patient's own cardiopulmonary and circulatory functions.
- Provide all aspects of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary support for organ donors.
- Work effectively in a high-stress environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Communicate effectively with the OR team and other healthcare professionals.
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, moving, and pushing heavy objects and equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited perfusion training program.
- Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
- Ability to work on call shifts and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
