Ferguson Construction is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Masonry Crew, you will be responsible for laying brick, block, and stone veneers, operating rough terrain forklifts to move masonry materials, and working in a utility capacity to transfer masonry material to masons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and sketches to ensure job expectations and requirements are met.
  • Maintain Tools and Site Cleanliness: Maintain tools and keep the job site clean and organized.
  • Assist in Masonry Work: Assist the team in maintaining, repairing, and constructing masonry surfaces and structures.
  • Layout Walls and Lay Leads: Layout walls and lay leads to ensure accurate and efficient masonry work.
  • Install Masonry Flashings and Insulation: Install masonry flashings and insulation to ensure a watertight seal.
  • Tuck and Point Masonry: Tuck and point masonry to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Build and Maintain Scaffolding: Build and maintain scaffolding and other temporary structures to ensure safe access to work areas.
  • Clean Work and Apply Sealants: Clean work areas and apply sealants to ensure a durable and long-lasting finish.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent experience, with a minimum of six months related experience and/or training.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Training: Completion of OSHA 10-hour training and certification.
  • Rough Terrain Forklift Certification: Certification in operating rough terrain forklifts.
  • Aerial Lift Certification: Certification in operating aerial lifts.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
