We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician II to join our team at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing engineering work in operations, production, construction, or maintenance environments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist engineers and scientists in creating, modifying, and testing products and processes.
- Support technical tasks and project support.
- Set up equipment and monitor tests and experiments.
- Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement.
- Observe results, collect data, and compile summaries and reports.
- Perform extensive research and development during the creation phase of products.
- Utilize computer-aided design and drafting equipment during the design phase.
- Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- Technical training preferred.
- IPC Soldering and Wire Harness certifications preferred.
