Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician II to join our team at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing engineering work in operations, production, construction, or maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist engineers and scientists in creating, modifying, and testing products and processes.
  • Support technical tasks and project support.
  • Set up equipment and monitor tests and experiments.
  • Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement.
  • Observe results, collect data, and compile summaries and reports.
  • Perform extensive research and development during the creation phase of products.
  • Utilize computer-aided design and drafting equipment during the design phase.
Requirements
  • Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • Technical training preferred.
  • IPC Soldering and Wire Harness certifications preferred.
