Job Title: Proposal Engineer

Join CPM Holdings, Inc. as a Proposal Engineer and contribute to the success of our Process Solutions business unit. As a key member of our global sales support team, you will work closely with Sales Managers and Technical Sales Managers to prepare customer proposals that showcase our technical process solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposal scope of supply
  • Assist with and/or prepare written proposals and calculation sheets
  • Create process flow diagrams, equipment general layout drawings, and other visual aids using AutoCAD mechanical and Microsoft Visio
  • Manage priorities with the commercial team and operational team
  • Gather costs for projects and work with supply chain & procurement area for cost analysis
  • Prepare risk assessments, both financial and hazard analysis
  • Gather detailed equipment reference drawings, ROI calculation sheets for proposals
  • Perform various engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection
  • Create SAP quotations, and purchase requisitions according to the procedures as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-centric mindset and relations skills
  • Ability to plan, produce and deliver compliant proposals within timescale
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Aptitude with computers and applications, such as AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Inventor, Microsoft Visio, Share Point and Microsoft Office
