We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at GEO Secured Services. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to inmates/detainees in a secure healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside our Registered Nurse to develop and implement nursing care plans
  • Perform physical assessments and medical histories, and provide nursing care within your scope of practice
  • Administer medications as prescribed, and monitor patients' symptoms and reactions
  • Document all patient interactions and maintain confidentiality of medical records
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the facility is located
  • Two years of direct work experience preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Lift or carry and push/pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder level
