Responsibilities- Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including the exterior, to ensure the safety and security of our customers and employees.
- Identify and verify the identity of incoming patrons entering our sportsbook and gaming areas.
- Monitor alarm systems and surveillance cameras to detect and respond to any security incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service to our guests and employees, resolving complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations, providing medical assistance and following established protocols for reporting injuries.
- Perform gaming drops and transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers, to ensure the smooth operation of our gaming activities.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
- Act as a dispatcher to relay information, messages, and emergencies to or from appropriate personnel using telephones or two-way radios.
- Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advising personnel of threats and potential threats, summoning emergency responders to the incident, and initiating and conducting evacuation procedures.
- Required to successfully attend and pass all recurring mandatory legal, defensive tactics, first aid, CPR/AED training/drills as a condition of employment.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned equipment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- One (1) year customer service experience.
- Valid Driver License.
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
The hourly pay range for this position is $14.23 to $21.25, and factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications may affect starting pay. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.
Gaming Compliance and Licensing RequirementsAs an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations, including licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
