This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff at our urology clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect the facility to ensure proper security and working conditions
  • Maintain routine records and determine the type and extent of malfunction of equipment
  • Actively notify the proper personnel of any and all alarms and document communication
  • Ensure completion of rounds and rounding forms
  • Attend routine training and education for the security department
  • Maintain complete documentation, records, and reports as required by the hospital's Quality and Infection Control department
  • Assist with escorting of visitors and staff upon request
  • Complete shift report with relieving officer
  • Assume responsibility for personal and professional growth through participation in department meetings, in-service programs, and continuing education programs

Requirements:
  • High school, technical, or electrical trade school graduate
  • 3 years' experience in a hospital preferred
  • General knowledge of hospital processes
