Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the operating room, responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, as well as assisting with the peri-operative care of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace for surgical procedures.
- Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, including preparing patients for surgery and providing support during the procedure.
- Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure the smooth and efficient function of the operating room.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of sterile techniques and protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
- At least 1 year experience as Surgical Technologist in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Surgery is preferred.
