At INTEGRIS Health, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Supervisor to join our team in Oklahoma City. As a RN Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily activities on the nursing unit, ensuring the coordination of care, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and direct the daily activities on the nursing unit.
- Oversee the coordination of care, in collaboration with other health care professionals.
- Conduct quality, safety, experience, and leader rounding.
- Act as a mentor to new grad RNs, providing just-in-time education, and clinical program evidence-based practice deployment and advancement.
- Develop and implement staffing plans for shifts based on patient acuity, patient census, and available staff.
- Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems.
- Participate in patient and safety rounding, providing real-time feedback to staff.
- Assist staff to efficiently utilize staffing resources to meet patient care requirements and other professional responsibilities.
- Provide for immediate follow-up, documentation, and communication of incidents to appropriate managers and directors.
- Anticipate actual/potential problems that may occur on their shift and set shift priorities accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and ancillary staff to solve problems in a fair and consistent manner.
- Provide support, guidance, and feedback to staff, giving ongoing timely feedback, verbal and written anecdotes, to staff on performance.
- Assist staff to provide a safe work environment for patient care.
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of the annual goals for the department.
- Consistently and independently follow established safety and infection control procedures.
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Shared on-call responsibilities as required for program operations.
- Participate in optimization of IACC program workflows, operational efficiencies, and clinical quality initiatives.
- Participate in program development opportunities related to marketing and outreach (including outreach clinics).
