Premise Health is seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join their team in Florence, KY. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8A-5P.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct medical care to employees and their dependents ages 5 and up.
  • Conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
  • Educate and advise on medical issues as needed, and provide referrals to appropriate medical resources or specialties.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor progress of patients.
  • Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record software.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet, and word processing.
  • Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification may be required for some positions.
  • Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required.
  • Must have current state and federal DEA certification.
  • Must be Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS, or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state within which the site is located.
  • At least three years of post-residency clinical experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
