Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse CVOR to provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiovascular Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse CVOR, you will be responsible for circulating in the operating room, assisting physicians with advanced tasks or equipment, and documenting nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans, in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training and orientation of surgical staff and students, as assigned.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures, technologies, and best practices in the field of cardiovascular surgery.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- One year of experience in the operating room, preferably in a cardiovascular setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
