Civil Foreman Job Description

The Civil Foreman is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the effective execution of civil construction projects from start to finish. This involves ensuring that safety, quality, budget, and timelines are meticulously managed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership to identify key success factors for civil crews.
  • Direct activities of crew members and assist with electrical, civil, and structural construction.
  • Read and redline engineering drawings to inform construction decisions.
  • Install Radio EQ, power plants, and batteries at indoor and outdoor sites.
  • General telecommunications civil construction experience is essential.
  • Ability to work on and around electrical components, including wiring, conduit installations, cabling, grounding, and connectors.
  • Perform form setting and set layout.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of field supervision experience within the telecommunications field is required.
  • Experience working on and around electrical components is necessary.
  • Understanding of cell site construction, including rooftop and ground sites, is essential.
  • Desire to succeed and learn new skills is a must.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to complete COD/Photos daily reports.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
  • Driver License is required.
  • Ability to travel is necessary.
Work Environment:
  • Work is performed outside in all weather conditions.
  • Travel is required, with home on weekends.
  • Noise is encountered from heavy equipment use on the job site.
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

Microsoft office suite & Outlook; Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Use of DelTek and SiteTracker is a plus.
