Key Responsibilities:

The Hospice Account Executive will be tasked with implementing the sales strategy aimed at enhancing our market presence through effective account management and educating the healthcare community about our services while adhering to budgetary constraints.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with targeted referral sources to facilitate our growth strategy.
  • Execute, oversee, and document consistent sales activities across multiple contacts within each referral source.
  • Gain insights into customer needs to offer tailored solutions and secure new and ongoing referrals.
  • Promote awareness and understanding of our services within the healthcare community.
  • Act as a liaison among referral sources, patients and families navigating end-of-life care, and our agency.

Education Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Two to three years of successful experience in hospice sales is advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Creativity in generating ideas related to marketing and community outreach.
  • Strong communication skills with a positive and engaging demeanor.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and independent means of transportation.
  • Basic understanding of home health and hospice coverage issues.
  • Capability to optimize resource utilization for cost-effectiveness.
