We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing state laws and college rules and regulations to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and properties.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce state laws and college rules and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Tour county campuses as directed to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Plan, implement, and coordinate safety training for the college, including traffic, fire, and job-related areas.
- Associate's degree in a related field and 2 years of work experience in law enforcement, or a high school diploma and 4 years of work experience in law enforcement.
- Must be certified by the SC Law Enforcement Training Council in accordance with State Law Law Enforcement Officer 1 (LE1) and be able to obtain a State Constables Commission.
- Requires a Current SC Drivers' License.
- One year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
