Role Overview:
A Logistics Coordinator is essential in facilitating daily transportation functions, which encompass planning, scheduling personnel, managing equipment, and performing clerical tasks.

This role may involve various driver-related responsibilities, such as route optimization, driver check-in procedures, and monitoring compliance with performance metrics related to driver hours of service.


Management Responsibilities:
Typically operates with minimal supervision on routine tasks and receives general guidance on new assignments.

Position Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Accurately and efficiently execute various driver-related tasks, including route optimization, driver check-in, and compliance with hours of service regulations.

Conduct audits of various software applications, including Syntellic and XATA.

Utilize software tools for route optimization, such as Paragon.

Assist in dispatching routes.

Engage professionally with both internal and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns promptly.

Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Proven problem-solving abilities.

Detail-oriented, diligent, and capable of working independently.

Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and deliver accurate, timely results in a dynamic environment.

Consistently exhibit a positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and professional demeanor.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Availability to work any shift and schedule due to the 24/7 operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Background in logistics education.

Experience in food service distribution.
