Key Responsibilities
  • Manage food service operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Develop and implement food service policies and procedures to ensure quality and safety
  • Supervise and train food service staff to ensure they meet HCSG standards
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food quality and safety
  • Maintain accurate records of food service operations, including income and expenditures, food and supply inventory, and personnel records
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management to ensure seamless food service operations
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality
  • Specialized training in food service management and nutrition
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
  • 2+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in an institutional setting
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
