Join Our Team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our patient-focused care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, efficient care to patients of all ages.

About the Role

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT, you will be responsible for performing critical care and diagnostic procedures, assessing patients, interpreting results, and suggesting alternative respiratory treatments. You will also be responsible for setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment, maintaining quality control measures, and performing basic respiratory equipment maintenance.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required for NICU RRT Staff
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU RRT staff
