Position Overview:
We are in search of a qualified and experienced Security Installation Technician to become a vital part of our team within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will take charge of the installation and upkeep of low voltage security systems, encompassing access control, CCTV, pedestrian access, and alarm systems. This role is full-time and offers competitive remuneration and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain low voltage security systems, including access control, CCTV, pedestrian access, and alarms.
- Troubleshoot and repair security systems as necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely and efficient installation and maintenance of security systems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials utilized.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the installed security systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in security technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and maintaining low voltage security systems, including access control, CCTV, pedestrian access, and alarms.
- Knowledge of electrical and low voltage wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
