Job Description

Shoe Carnival, a leading retailer in the footwear industry, is seeking a highly skilled Allocation Specialist to join its team in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels across all stores to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize stockouts.
  • Product Allocation: Evaluate and enter store distributions, manage product fill, and review store distributions prior to purchase order arrival at the Distribution Center.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and react to product trends, build and execute quarterly strategies for opportunity stores, and maintain store capacities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create and maintain complex analytic reports, and present findings to Corporate and Store management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in retail Allocation and/or Planning preferred.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of retail systems, terms, and calculations, proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel experience, and strong computer skills.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate ideas, and strong attention to detail.
