Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team at Hannah's Children's Homes.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our agency is in compliance with the Office of Refugee Resettlement regulations regarding the prevention, detection, and response to sexual abuse and harassment.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Coordinating with law enforcement agencies when a victim of sexual abuse has been identified
  • Supervising other certified sexual abuse counselors or assistant managers
  • Conducting training on sexual assault screening/recognition with agency staff and foster parents
  • Ensuring confidentiality of all complaint investigations and incidents
  • Maintaining professionalism with employees, recipients, community contacts, and regulatory personnel

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field
  • Previous experience in social work, sexual abuse prevention, counseling, and abuse prevention
  • Experience in conflict resolution and crisis intervention
  • Fundamental knowledge of abuse laws and protocol
  • Ability to build rapport with victims and their families
  • Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
