Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Driver to join our team at Contra Costa Electric, Inc., a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc. As a Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of materials and tools to various job sites throughout the Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver materials and tools to job sites, following established routes and schedules
  • Operate a 14' stake bed truck, 22' stake bed truck, tow trailer, and forklift safely and efficiently
  • Travel to vendor warehouses to will-call material and deliver to job sites or main office
  • Coordinate with site personnel to pick up material or tools and associated paperwork
  • Process packing slips and material/tool transfers for all deliveries
  • Receive and stage materials from various vendors and shipping companies
  • Maintain direct communication with the Warehouse Manager throughout the day
  • Contribute to a neat and tidy work area within the warehouse, yard, and various sheds and conex boxes
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience as a driver preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record required
  • Class B license preferred
