Advanced Acute Care Nurse

Mercy HaH Acute Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality advanced acute care in the home-setting. This role requires delivering daily "hospital-level patient care that aligns with Mercy's mission, culture, and standards of practice.
Responsibilities- Provides advanced acute skilled nursing care with clinical and home assessments, teaching, treatments, documentation, and coordination of care with HaH interdisciplinary clinical teams.
- Responsible for delivering daily "hospital-level patient care that aligns with Mercy's mission, culture, and standards of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed. Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- A minimum of two years of previous nursing experience in an acute inpatient or emergency department setting.
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider card or successful completion of course within 30 days
- Strong nursing, communication, and organizational skills for home-based visit prioritization and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and adapt to unpredictable circumstances.
- Strong interpersonal and team-based skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
- Ability to work with various computer software applications and technologies required.
- Travel required within Mercy HaH geographic area
