We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Custodian to join our team at Texas Tech University. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality inspections and performance sampling to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Reporting and Communication: Report any repairs or maintenance needs, as well as any safety concerns or hazards, to the relevant authorities.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of custodians to ensure efficient and effective delivery of cleaning and maintenance services.
- Specialized Tasks: Perform specialized tasks such as restroom maintenance, light duty cleaning, and vacuuming of high-traffic areas.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in building custodial and maintenance work.
- Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a full-time, hourly position with a minimum hire rate of $15.75. The successful candidate will be required to work a night shift, with a schedule of 10:00pm-6:00am.
