About the Role

We are seeking an experienced National Security and Intelligence Expert to join our team at MELE Associates, Inc. in Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in national security and intelligence, with experience supporting senior-level federal staff and managing multiple calendars and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily management support to senior-level federal staff, including coordinating meetings and scheduling appointments.
  • Create and distribute daily books for program principals, including scheduled appointments, logistics, and meeting documentation.
  • Answer phone lines and deliver telephone messages to front office staff in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and logistical arrangements for senior NNSA leaders, including security transfer, VIP transportation, and ensuring that NNSA leaders are fully briefed on meeting agendas.
  • Ensure that all necessary audio/visual systems are provided, set up, and working in meeting locations.
  • Prepare and edit internal DOE/NNSA memos and reports.
  • Coordinate international and national travel itineraries, country clearances, passports, visas, travel authorizations, Embassy Assistance, and vouchers for senior level staff.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to all security policies regarding creation of Security Memos, Plans, and badge/suite/location access for monitored and tracked DOE/NNSA security.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a front-office or office management position.
  • An active DOE "Q" or DoD Top Secret clearance.
