Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, HVAC, basic carpentry, food & beverage equipment, fueling equipment, and other site and building systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs that do not require a specialized technician, such as HVAC filter changes, light bulb replacement, beverage equipment and product line repairs, fuel nozzle/hose/filter replacement, replacing ceiling tiles, drywall repairs, painting, and other building fixtures.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
  • Fabricate and repair shelving, fencing, trim, and other wooden structures.
  • Inspect, test, and repair c-store equipment, including determining and resolving the cause of malfunction.
  • Provide troubleshooting of equipment by inspecting and diagnosing possible causes using equipment manuals as needed.
  • Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts when required.
  • Start equipment to test their performance.
  • Perform all repairs safely, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities.
  • Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Contact the Field Maintenance Manager when problems require outside contractor assistance.
  • Utilize technology solutions to update work order status, parts used, etc.
  • Be on-call after hours and weekends for emergency maintenance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Able to work in warm or cool environments, including warehouses, coolers, and outdoors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Able to drive a forklift, preferred but not required.
  • Able to drive a company vehicle.
