Job Title: Industrial Mechanic Maintenance

Job Summary:

Vestis is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic Maintenance to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial laundry equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair industrial laundry equipment, including high-volume washers and dryers
  • Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work as needed
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues using technical manuals and schematics
  • Order necessary parts, tools, and equipment in a timely manner
  • Conduct daily removal and processing of waste solids generated from treatment processes
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting, make necessary repairs, and complete preventative maintenance and housekeeping practices
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, observing best practices in all production activities

Requirements:

  • 1 year of maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Working Environment:

This role requires working in a high-volume production warehouse setting, with regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, and dust and noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Location:

Vestis has locations in Watkinsville, GA, and Athens, GA.
