About the Role:
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Arrhythmia Specialist. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients with arrhythmia conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans to address their unique needs.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ECGs and echocardiograms, to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe and manage medications, including anti-arrhythmic medications and other treatments, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their arrhythmia conditions effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
- Board certification in Cardiology or related specialty.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a cardiology or electrophysiology setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
