About the Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate patients with arrhythmia conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans to address their unique needs.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ECGs and echocardiograms, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including anti-arrhythmic medications and other treatments, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their arrhythmia conditions effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
  • Board certification in Cardiology or related specialty.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a cardiology or electrophysiology setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
