We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Health Services of North Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our medical professionals to deliver comprehensive, team-based care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary medical care to patients, including medical history, evaluation, and treatment for women's health-related care and other conditions. You will work closely with our physicians to ensure delivery of the most effective medical care and provide ongoing guidance and supervision to other clinical providers.

- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
- Participate in quality management studies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Familiarity and comprehension of medical terminology.
- Proven skills in working independently, self-motivated, goal-oriented, strong initiative, and self-starter.
- Ability to organize and prioritize.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) a plus.
- Proficiency with data entry (including familiarity with electronic health record systems).
- Strongly developed attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt easily to changing environments.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work with people and work under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to relate to individuals from a variety of racial, ethnic, religious, and cultural/socioeconomic backgrounds, including various sexual orientations.
- Master level nursing degree.
- Licensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
- Working knowledge of comprehensive health care issues in women's health.
- Previous women's health care experience with knowledge of ENB, and IUD and Nexplanon implantations and removals.
- Strong communication skills and professional, compassionate approach in practicing medicine.
- Ability to relate to individuals from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including various sexual orientations.
The activity for this position requires the employee to work in-person onsite in a clinical setting. May be required to work alternative schedules. Must be able to move, transport, position, and lift up to 15 pounds as needed. Must be able to remain in a stationary position such as standing or sitting for up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to walk, move, and/or traverse as needed. Must possess the ability to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange information fluently and frequently. Must possess the ability to retain information. Must be able to observe, assess, recognize, identify, determine, and perceive at all times. Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery at any given time. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to successfully complete a motor vehicle background report prior to hire date, and during employment as needed.
