Job Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at MO-SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will provide high-quality patient care to children in the hospital setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pediatric services to patients at designated hospitals or Program Sites
  • Responsible for admission, management, and discharge of pediatric patients in conjunction with attending physicians
  • Evaluate patients and perform procedures as deemed appropriate by the Medical Director
  • Respond to requests from the Emergency Department for patient evaluation and treatment
  • Attend high-risk deliveries in the labor and delivery room
  • Collaborate with advance practice nurses and other members of the Program team to ensure continuity, appropriateness, and timeliness of care
Requirements
  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Missouri
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
