Inova Health System is seeking a qualified pediatric hospitalist to join our team at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia. Our pediatric hospitalists provide 24/7 in-house coverage of the pediatric medical unit, daily coverage of the newborn nursery, and consultative services to our surgical colleagues.

Program Overview

Our pediatric hospitalist program is a dynamic and growing team of 24 dedicated physicians who provide expert care to children from birth to young adulthood. We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care, education, and research in a child-friendly environment.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and coordinate care for patients with medical needs from multiple subspecialties
  • Liaise with case managers, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure the highest quality of care
  • Encourage and participate in an outstanding patient experience
  • Actively participate in the education of residents and medical students during their shifts
  • Assist with teaching fellows in our ACGME Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine Fellowship
