ROLE SUMMARY :

The Supply Chain Procurement Manager plays a pivotal role in guiding the Purchasing team’s planning, organization, and coordination efforts. This includes responsibilities such as recruitment, onboarding, coaching, training, disciplinary actions, and performance assessments. The manager will develop strategies to achieve departmental objectives and will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Establish clear expectations and priorities for the department while managing the budget effectively.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across various functions including Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, IT, and Logistics.
  • Encourage team involvement in identifying and eliminating barriers to achieving performance excellence.
  • Recruit and nurture talent within the team, ensuring accountability through coaching and performance management.
  • Comprehend supply chain capacity limitations and constraints.
  • Empower the team to lead continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain processes utilizing AMS tools and systems.
  • Embody the core values of Andersen, fostering trust through transparency and collaboration.
  • Oversee a team of 8-9 professionals specializing in supply chain procurement and inventory management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in supply chain.
  • Comprehensive understanding of systems and processes that support supply chain and manufacturing operations, including ERP and WMS.
  • Proven skills in written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, analytical, and conceptual abilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and lean methodologies, particularly in problem-solving and opportunity identification.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, training, and developing team members.
  • Ability to inspire and energize others.
  • Experience with performance management systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Familiarity with Baan IV, Infor LN, and Power BI.
