Job Summary

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft HCM Developer to join our team. As a PeopleSoft HCM Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and implementing major enhancements and operations & maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM system in production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of major enhancements and operations & maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM system in production.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces, reports, conversions, and other technical aspects of the PeopleSoft application.
  • Help lead our clients and the project team through a structured process to analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy solutions per client requirements.
  • Define and execute on a robust plan to ensure all client requirements are met, while leading the team to continuously innovate and streamline the application functionality and data quality assurance/testing process.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship - A contractual requirement for this position.
  • Proven experience in design, development, testing, and deployment solutions and support data analysis functions for commercial entities and Federal agencies.
  • 3+ years of PeopleSoft technical design and development experience.
  • 5+ years of overall technical experience in systems design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of applications or systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or above.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
  • Experience in drafting technical design specifications and test plans for application modifications, enhancements, or customizations.
  • Extensive experience with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Query.
  • Familiar with Portal Technology, Workflow, and Integration Broker.
  • Extensive experience with writing complex SQL statements and designing custom modules.
  • Experience developing reports & dashboards and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) routines.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both oral and written documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and take solution ownership.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working and delivering for in Federal Government clients.
  • Experience utilizing an issue tracking software such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of HCM business processes and delivered in a Business Analyst role.
  • Ability and interest to learn new processes, tools, and technologies, including Web 2.0 and other COTS applications.
