Director of Nursing Opportunity

Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Nursing Policy and Procedure: Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Staff Management: Oversee the hiring, training, and development of nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Nursing Staffing: Ensure adequate nursing staffing levels to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Employee Conduct: Oversee the conduct of nursing staff to ensure a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Incident Reporting: Be knowledgeable of incidents at the facility and take appropriate action to prevent future occurrences.
  • Resident Care: Assess the health needs of each resident and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Current State RN license required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term care and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Evidence of strong supervision and leadership skills.
