The Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) is seeking a dedicated Clinic Veterinarian to lead our efforts in providing exceptional care for animals in need. Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinic Veterinarian, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough examinations and overseeing the treatment of injured or ill animals at our facility.
• Performing surgical procedures, including spaying and neutering of shelter and foster animals.
• Monitoring post-operative animals for any unusual conditions.
• Providing expert consultation and guidance on animal health, care, and treatment options.
• Recommending referrals to specialists when necessary to enhance animal health outcomes.
• Advising shelter staff and volunteers on best practices for animal care and disease prevention.
• Diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, administering vaccinations, and prescribing medications.
• Offering nutritional, breeding, and behavioral advice to pet owners.
• Conducting and supervising humane euthanasia when required for animal welfare.
• Managing responses to disease outbreaks within the clinic and shelter.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:
This position typically operates on a four-day work week, with shifts available from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday. Please note that this role is FMLA Exempt and does not qualify for overtime.
