Research Scientist

Piper Companies is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to support its pre-clinical research organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing method development and method validation for studies.

Key Responsibilities of the Research Scientist include:

• Develop and implement all protocols to ensure proper execution (PCR)
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding studies, planning, execution, and pricing
• Manage all communication with study sponsors regarding project timelines, changes, requirements, and updates
• Ensure all documentation, data, protocols, specimens, and summary reports are up-to-date and accurate

Requirements for the Research Scientist include:

• At least 2 years of experience in method development
• Extensive experience working with PCR, qPCR, and ddPCR
• Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field (PhD or Master's preferred)

Compensation for the Research Scientist includes:

• Salary: Between $75,000 - $90,000 (dependent on relevant experience)

Key Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Experience with assay development and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
