Job Summary

Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN weekend schedule. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized therapy plans to address their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide education and training to patients, family members, and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for daily living and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and progress reports to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
