Pharmacy Technician Role

As a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team in delivering compassionate care to our millions of patients every day. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to ensure prompt, safe, and accurate filling of patient prescriptions. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will make a significant impact on our patients' lives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions
  • Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients
  • Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
  • Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements
Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Licensure requirements vary by state
  • Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
  • Customer Service Orientation: actively look for ways to help people and do so in a friendly manner
  • Communication Skills: use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues
