Medical Allergy Specialist

A Clinical Allergy Specialist at United Allergy Services is responsible for overseeing daily operations of an allergy center, administering safe and effective immunotherapy processes, including quality allergy testing. The specialist educates patients on allergen immunotherapy administration and provides patient-centered care to those suffering from allergies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of allergens, the allergic response, and UAS clinical protocols.
- Administers safe and effective immunotherapy processes, including quality allergy testing and formulation/preparation of allergy immunotherapy.
- Educates patients on proper injection techniques for immunotherapy.
- Follows up with patients to ensure timely pickup of immunotherapy and completes necessary paperwork.
- Verifies insurance eligibility for each patient and handles billing documentation.
- Maintains clinic inventory levels and ensures timely ordering and receipt of supplies.
- Develops professional relationships with providers and medical office staff.
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences or business (preferred).
- Minimum two years of full-time equivalent work experience in healthcare, customer service, retail, or similar industries.
- Nursing or other medical technician certification(s) as required by state or local regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure suitable results.
