We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Generac Power Systems, Inc. as a Journeyman Electrician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation and preventative maintenance on generators, ensuring they operate at optimal levels and meet industry standards.
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on generators, utilizing your expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Installation Hook-up: Assist in the installation hook-up of home standby generators and clean energy products, working closely with customers to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Team Collaboration: As part of a team of 2-4 individuals, you will have the opportunity to mentor and work with an apprentice, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide demonstrations of generator operation and power outage simulations to customers, showcasing the benefits of our products and services.
Requirements
  • Journeyman License: Possess a valid Journeyman Electrician license, with a strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Electrical Experience: Bring 5+ years of electrical experience, with a focus on residential and commercial installations.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license, with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently.
  • Technical Skills: Possess experience or the ability to learn small engine repairs, electrical knowledge, and experience that complies with AHJ requirements.
